Salifert Coral Grower 250ml

It contains calcium, strontium and trace elements (except iodine) required for growth and multiplication by corals and the beautiful encrusting pink and red coralline algae. We explain the necessity of these elements below. Calcium and strontium are the major cationic constituents of calcareous algae, skeletal material of hard corals and the skeletal needles of soft/leather corals. Growth and multiplication of these organisms means depletion of those substances.

The trace elements included in Coral Grower allow organisms to carry out many biological processes. Manganese for instance is essential for the many biochemical reactions, which make photosynthesis possible. Iron allows several organisms to absorb nutrients. Cobalt is essential for the formation of several coral pigments. Zinc is, like manganese essential for photosynthesis and is also used in the formation of calcium carbonate by corals. These are just a few of the trace elements present in Coral Grower and we could give many more examples.

This Supplement is highly concentrated and contains for example approx. 80,000 ppm calcium and 1,600 ppm strontium. To avoid an ionic imbalance, we properly balance the calcium and strontium with ions such as sulfate, chloride, bromide, sodium and magnesium. All ingredients are of a pharmaceutical quality or even better. This ensures that no unwanted elements are added to your valuable aquarium.

Some other requirements

If calcium is depleted because of growth of corals and coralline algae then we also require Salifert's KH+pH Buffer for the formation of calcium and strontium carbonates. To complete the range of trace elements our Natural Iodine is highly recommended.

Directions:
Shake before use. Regular maintenance: Dose 5 ml per 100 liters (25 gallons) once a week.

Keep out of reach of children. In case of contact with eyes rinse with plenty of water.

Creating and maintaining optimum water condition in marine aquariums.

Tropic Marin PRO-TECT improves water quality in marine aquariums by including a combination of highly effective active compounds. PRO-TECT also replenishes many trace elements depleted by precipitation, protein skimming and the daily metabolic activity of the tank inhabitants.

Tropic Marin PRO-TECT contains protective colloids that safeguard the sensitive mucous membranes of the fish from germs and promote the regeneration of its protective coating. Additionally, PRO-TECT aids in the stabilization of the water’s pH contributing to a healthier environment for the aquarium’s animals.

By greatly increasing the efficiency of the protein skimmer, PRO-TECT facilitates the removal of organic pollutants and helps maintain a clear, clean aquatic environment.
Application and dosage (for the 1000 ml bottle):
By gently squeezing the bottle, the desired amount of PRO-TECT can be released into the dosing chamber.

Dosage: 10 ml of PRO-TECT will effectively treat 110 litres / 30 gallons of aquarium system water. The amount of PRO-TECT needed will vary with tank population, water condition and frequency of water changes. Dosage may be increased to 20 ml per 30 gallons without any harmful effects. Tropic Marin® recommends a minimum of 10% water change every two weeks.

Tropic Marin Re-Mineral Marine 250g

Minerals for water of reverse osmosis and for soft tap water.

Reverse osmosis water is often used to replace evaporated water of the aquarium. But reverse osmosis does not only remove harmful substances but also valuable minerals. With Tropic Marin Re-Mineral Marine the water of reverse osmosis gets back all its beneficial natural minerals and substances. At the same time the alkalinity is raised and stabilized. Kalkwasser for example only adds Calcium, whereas Tropic Marin Re-Mineral Marine provides all trace elements and minerals in the natural composition of the sea.

Re-Mineral Marine is also excellent suitable for aquarium conditioning of soft tap water

How to use Re-Mineral Marine:

Ensure that you use the enclosed spoon to measure a precise amount of TROPIC MARIN Re-Mineral Marine. Use the spatula provided to wipe over the spoon and level the powder. Sprinkle one measuring spoonful onto the surface of the reverse osmosis water while stirring the water. Wait for each spoonful to dissolve before adding more Re-Mineral Marine.
