The cation exchange resin contains beads of a uniform size(monodisperse) based on a styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer. The monodisperse beads are chemically and osmotically very stable.

Service life is dependant on the quality of the water supplied to this filter.

This resin is especially suited to softening drinking water and complies with European Resolution ResAP (2004) with regard to Total Organic Carbon (TOC) release. In addition, this resin is in compliance with FDA and German legislation/regulations on food and food-contact uses.
