To ensure optimum skimming, water is gathered from the surface through an adjustable inlet sluice, which guarantees elimination of the superficial layer of grease and dust that commonly forms in aquariums.
This sluice can be adjusted to all types of aquariums and water levels, making it possible to ensure that the water is always kept crystal clear and achieve optimum light penetration.
The new "Aloisi" injector (patent pending) affords maximum aeration with the smallest possible bubbles. Injection is carried out directly to the central part of the needle wheel, producing excellent air-water mixture, extending the pump's useful life and minimising vibrations.
Skimming can be adjusted easily by loosening the screw that holds the collector cup, which can then be moved up or down to control the desired quality of the skim foam (from very dry to very wet).
